I am happy to say that we are in the process of going green. As a business, we feel that we can make a large environmental difference by changing our disposable takeout containers to biodegradable containers that are made from sugar cane pulp. We are recycling our tin cans,  plastic and glass containers  and are also using environmentally friendly dishwashing and cleaning products. This process will take a little while to fully accomplish.

   Our summer event season is officially over. We were at the Reno Rodeo, Star Spangled Sparks,  Hot August Nights, The Nevada State Fair, Best in the West Nugget Rib Cookoff and the Air Races. We also had our BJ's booth at the Sparks Farmer's Markets. All in all it was a great summer and we had great community turnout. We hope to see you all next summer. Keep an eye out for our latest event season pictures posted in our photo gallery.

Our beautiful full service bar is built.  We have been serving mixed drinks since July. Our happy hour starts from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Monday thru Wednesday. Regular drafts are $2.50 and our imports are $3.50. We are also serving premium well drinks.  Come in with your friends and enjoy our relaxing atmosphere.

A long overdue newsletter

I am happy to say that the two new sauces are finally bottled.. They are the Sweet "N" Smokey Bourbon and Cherry Chipotle BBQ Sauces. Both will be availabe at Bj's BBQ on March 13, 2008, and available in local markets around Nevada and California this summer. These two sauces will accompany all our other sauces that we already serve and sell at the restaurant.

  We finally made it to the 21st Century and will have our Shopping cart up and running in April of this year. We will be showcasing all of our BBq products and apparel.

 If you have noticed the new icon at the bottom left of our homepage it's called the ASK JAY Column. This is a service for anyone who has questions pertaining to BBQ. Feel free to ask away. Your question just might end up on the column.

 As you have seen us grow and expand over the years we still aren't done quite yet. We will soon be adding a full bar to the newest section of the restaurant. Right now it is under construction and will be up and running shortly. We are excited about the bar knowing that it will compliment everything Bj's has to offer to our customers.
